MA in Educational Leadership with Concentration in P-12 Education and Principal Licensure

The P-12 concentration of the MA in Educational Leadership and the Principal Licensure program has been carefully designed to ensure the development of educational leaders who can transform schools into learning communities in which all members of a diverse society are accorded opportunity and respect. These programs are accredited by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Educational Leadership Constituency Council (ELCC). Leadership coursework is organized around management in P-12 schools, instructional leadership, and educational reform.

MA in Educational Leadership with Concentration in SAHE

The Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) concentration of the MA in Educational Leadership has been carefully designed to ensure the development of educational leaders in student affairs operations in colleges and universities. The program adheres to the Master’s Level Student Affairs Professional Preparation Program Standards developed by the Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS Professional Standards for Higher Education, 8th ed.). Leadership coursework is organized around foundational studies, professional studies, and supervised practice.

Ph. D. in Educational Leadership, Research, and Policy

The Ph.D. program is designed to meet the personal and professional needs of educational leaders in school districts, higher education, and non-governmental organizations through rigorous coursework in leadership, research and policy. This innovative program combines challenging courses with collaborative faculty-students research labs that prepare students for successful completion of the dissertation and professional application of skills and knowledge.
