College of Education Admissions Criteria:

2.75 Undergraduate GPA for Graduate Programs, 2.5 for Undergraduate

Initial advising session with department faculty member

Previous work and volunteer experience is preferred

College of Education Admissions Checklist

Take the GRE or MAT for programs in Counseling and Human Services only

Take the GRE for Ph.D. program in Leadership, Research and Policy

Obtain three letters of reference

*Submit one transcript from all institutions of higher education previously attended

Prepare a career goal statement (see department specific requirements)

Current resume

Complete a background check

Interview with department faculty member

Complete the electronic online application: http://www.uccs.edu/~apply/

*Students who attended UCCS as undergraduates DO NOT need to request an official transcript.
