Repairing Waldo at the Flying W Ranch

In the 2012 wildfires, 346 homes were destroyed. Since then, Flying W Ranch has been working with local and federal authorities to protect the municipal water supply and to re-vegetate the Waldo Canyon Burn area by installing log erosion barrier structures and seeding/mulching hill slopes and plains. Volunteers are needed for the following dates and times:

31st Annual Colorado Mathematical Olympiad

Volunteers are needed to help out at the Mathematical Olympiad. The competition will be from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed starting at 7:00 a.m. to handle registration, check-in, check-out, distribute testing materials to participants, and act as proctors.
2014 Colorado Mathematical Olympiad Award Ceremony

More than 250 students from middle and high schools attend the Colorado Olympiad with the intent of solving five problems and trying to win prizes such as calculators, software, and scholarships. Volunteers are needed to help with award recipient check-in, direct guests to facilities, and for general assistance.

Pikes Peak Prep is looking for volunteers to tutor students in Language Arts and Math Tuesdays to Fridays from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. Language Arts tutoring runs Tues-Fri and Math tutoring runs Tues and Thurs only.
