Singapore Military Visit

A delegation from the Singapore military visited the Center for Homeland Security during their attendance at the 5th Annual NHDF Symposium. Pictures from a visit by Singapore Military Officials:

	Colonel Ng Soon Watt, Chief of Staff of the Singapore 2nd People's Defense Force is greeted by Steve Recca and Rick White from the UCCS Center for Homeland Security.
	Colonel Watt and his staff meet to discuss collaborative education opportunities with Steve Recca, the Director of the Center for Homeland Security.
	Mr. Recca gratefully acknowledges the symbolic gift commemorating Colonel Watt's visit.
	Colonel Watt is presented with a copy of the Center's latest textbook on Homeland Defense.

Hughbank - Black Widows

Richard Hughbank, instructor for UCCS's Center for Homeland Security, co-authored an article in The Journal of Counterterrorism and Homeland Security International entitled Black Widows . This article looks at the growing incidence of female Chechen terrorists and the added risk they bring to Islamist movements.
