The Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Chemistry offers highly-qualified UCCS chemistry and biochemistry majors the opportunity to pursue the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (B.A. or B.S.) in Chemistry or Biochemistry and the Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) in Chemistry concurrently. The main benefit of the program is that it allows students to register for up to nine credit hours to be used for both the B.A./B.S. and M.Sc. programs. The program is designed to be a five-year or five-year+ (less than six) program for currently enrolled UCCS chemistry or biochemistry majors.
Graduate Teaching Assistantships: We have a limited number of $15,000 annual GTAs available. Application for these is a competitive process, and recipients are required to teach four labs over the course of the year (two each in the fall and spring semesters).
