The Career Center is proud to host various events throughout the year, including employer visits, career workshops, and career/majors fairs. Events are available only to UCCS students and alumni, unless otherwise noted.
CAREER FAIRS: A recruiting event where job seekers meet with multiple employers on campus. Dress professionally and bring copy of résumé.
COMMUNITY EVENTS: Events happening within the Pikes Peak Region that promote networking and further business relations for job seekers.
INFO SESSIONS/TABLES: Opportunties to meet with employers/grad schools in an informal setting.
MAJOR/MINOR FAIRS: Provides information to undeclared students to better assist in choosing the best majors/minors available.
MEET AND GREETS: Similar to career fairs, but shorter in length. Dress professionally and bring copy of résumé.
MOCK INTERVIEWS: Practice your skills before the big day. Prepare as if it were the real thing! Dress professionally and arrive on time for the appointment.
NETWORKING: Obtain and matintain the most necessary skill required to achieve your career goals.
ON CAMPUS INTERVIEWS: Interview with employers for available jobs/interships.
