Evaluate Your Strengths, Interests and Values


The first step to a successful job search or career transition is to understand who you are, what you have to offer and what you are looking for. There are a variety of assessment tools available to help you gain more clarity in these areas. Use the following questions as a gauge to determine your career transition readiness. If you can come up with clear answers, you are ready to develop a career marketing plan and move forward with your job search.

Can you answer the following questions clearly and easily?

  • What strengths and talents can you bring to a company?
  • What is most important to you in a job?
  • What industry and type of company are you targeting?
  • What role would be the most satisfying and fulfilling to you?

Character Strengths Profile- Provides an in-depth and detailed exploration of your strengths.

Human Metrics - Offers a short quiz to learn your Jungian type. Once you receive your type, go to - to learn more about your type and how your personality relates to careers, relationships, etc.
