If there is not a club that exists that fills your interest, you can start your own! It takes two students to form a club. Students wishing to form a club at UCCS can do so by doing the following:
Pick up, complete, and submit a club registration application at the Student Life and Leadership Desk
Attend club orientation session
Agree to comply with the University’s non-discrimination policy which states: The University of Colorado does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status in admission and access to, and treatment and employment in, its educational programs and activities.
Privileges of registration include:
$100 in Clyde’s Cash and $100 in Bookstore Donations
The ability to reserve space on campus for meetings and events
The ability to advertise organization events, meetings and programs by posting flyers in the authorized locations on campus
The ability to request funds from Student Government Association
The ability store items in the Student Life and Leadership office storage area
Access to shared SGA property for club use (button maker, camera, banana boards, etc…)
Access to the Office of Student Activities supply closet for use at co-sponsored events.
Listing on UCCS Student Clubs and Organizations website and other university publications
Leadership Training
Access to Student Life and Leadership computers with a printer for use as follows:
Check club/organization email
Update club/organization website
Create flyers and posters for club/organization events.
A maximum of 20 pages per day, per club may be printed or copied for your club by Student Life and Leadership Desk staff.
Clyde's Cash Once your club is registered and has attended an orientation session you have access to Clyde's Cash. Clyde's Cash is $100 set aside by the Student Government Association for each club each school year to be used for club expenses.
