All Campus Recreation facilities will close at 6:30pm on Sunday, 4/28 to allow our student employees to attend their employee end-of-the-year celebration. Thank you for your support as we thank them for their hard work and commitment to Campus Recreation, its programs and services, but above all, you, our members.

UCCS Intramural Sports

Intramurals

The mission of the UCCS Intramural Program is to provide fun and entertaining recreational sports and activities in a safe and competitive environment. A wide variety of activities are offered each semester in the form of leagues, tournaments, and drop-in activities. The semester calendar will list all intramural activities available for the current semester. For questions or comments regarding the Intramural Program, contact Mallory Price at mprice@uccs.edu, or by phone at 719.255.7513.

Captains Meetings

Captain's Meetings provide participants the opportunity to ask the intramural staff questions specific to the sports league(s) in which they are participating . The intramural staff will go over major rules of the sport for which the meeting is held, as well as the expectations of the captains and their teams. Policies, eligibility, and scheduling procedures will be discussed at this time as well. Team captains will receive a copy of the rules to take home and read over more in depth. Failure to attend the Captains Meeting will result in the specific team being dropped from the league.

See the Semester Calendar for all other meeting dates and times. All Captain's Meetings will be held upstairs in the multi-purpose room of the Rec Center unless otherwise indicated.

Free Agents

Students not having enough members to form a full team may sign up online at IM Leagues in the free agents section. This places participants who wish to play the sport on a team together. Then Free Agents will be eligible to play together with the specific sport. Also, teams that are looking for one or two extra players may pick up a free agent who has signed up in the free agent section. The free agents are encouraged to come to the captains’ meeting to allow them to talk to captains that might need another player. This is also a great way to meet more people on campus and to get out and use the Rec Center and all it has to offer.
