All Campus Recreation facilities will close at 6:30pm on Sunday, 4/28 to allow our student employees to attend their employee end-of-the-year celebration. Thank you for your support as we thank them for their hard work and commitment to Campus Recreation, its programs and services, but above all, you, our members.

PoolThe aquatics area here at the Campus Recreation Center is a first of its kind on the UCCS campus!  Within the aquatics area you'll find:

  • Depth ranges from one to nine feet, and several in between!
  • Four 25-yd lap lanes
  • A vortex pool
  • A drop slide
  • Hydro-therapy jets and benches
  • In-water seating in the form of benches and pillars
  • A 1-ft ledge area which is great for introducing smaller children to the joys of the water
  • 20-person spa/hot tub with an amazing view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods
  • Plenty of deck furniture to lounge around the pool!
  • Aqua-jogging belts, water weights, pull buoys, and various aqua-exercise equipment

Programming in the aquatics area includes:

  • Aquacize fitness programs
  • Intramural programming such as water polo
  • Kayak training and roll sessions
  • Water volleyball and basketball
  • Instructional swimming program
  • Aquatic certification programs
