An annual event held by the Center for Education on Social Responsibility (CESR) with assistance from the Deming Center, the Conscious Capitalism
Conference brings together students from multiple Colorado universities. The conference features businesspeople who use the tools of the free market to make money the “new-fashioned” way, with an intentional motivation behind business operations to serve a societal goal or directly address social needs. These conscious capitalists don’t consider profits in isolation from integrity, higher standards, and serving all stakeholders. They embody the pursuit of a higher purpose than just business as usual.
This opportunity is available to UCCS students only.
