Description: The Small Project ManagementSM (SPM) for Healthcare Professionals program is designed for professionals in healthcare organizations with supervisory or management responsibilities. This program will teach individuals how to define, plan, and execute a project. Participants will also learn tools and strategies to increase effectiveness and efficiency in completing and executing projects, along with how to troubleshoot and solve challenges within project implementation. Each participant undertakes a workplace based project and provides findings in a final presentation to class participants and their supervisors.
Participants will:
* Participants will earn 1.75 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and can claim 17.5 Professional Development Units (PDUs)

Description: The Leadership Development program is a professional development program designed for individuals in healthcare organizations with supervisory responsibilities. This program focuses on providing individuals with insight, knowledge, and skills that will help them better manage conflict, improve interpersonal communication, and better understand their own strengths and weaknesses. Each participant undertakes a workplace based project and provides findings in a final presentation to class participants and their supervisors.

Description: Strategic planning often results in little organizational change because the planning process is not well-conceived. In this high-impact course, healthcare leaders will learn how to how to design a strategic planning process that fits their organization, & that compels growth & change. Participants will learn concepts & tools to increase participation in the strategic planning process & improve strategy implementation while developing a culture that supports the strategy.
This program is for healthcare professionals who are involved in strategic planning, including executives and VPs responsible for strategic planning & execution as well as middle managers who are responsible to drive a strategic planning process within their organization on various levels. Participants will apply learning by completing assignments, which will include designing a strategic planning process for their organization or improving an existing strategic planning process. For maximum benefit, multiple professionals from the same organization should participate.

Description: Negotiating involves more than financial transactions & organizational schemes. This interactive program will teach participants how to effectively negotiate within their organization including areas such as team competence, a willingness to integrate resources for strategic advantage, conflict management, & achieving via cross-functional teams. Knowing how to achieve goals collectively through negotiations & conflict management increases input-value, operations, & efficient output.
This program is for healthcare professionals who manage and supervise other people, both individuals and teams, and deal with situations that require knowledge and skills in the areas of conflict management and negotiation strategies. Participants will apply learning through interactive lecture, case studies, course exercises, assignments, and Q&A discussion. Assignments are designed to benefit the participants & organizations they represent. For maximum benefit, multiple professionals from the same organization should participate.
