Target Participants: Target participants include: commercial loan officers, bankers, credit offers, loan committee members, underwriters, and key lending decision-makers
Description: The Financial Reporting & Analysis for Commercial Lending Professionals non-credit program is a professional development program designed for individuals in commercial lending careers. This program focuses on providing individuals with tools, knowledge, and skills that will help them make educated lending decisions, think outside the box, and effectively communicate financial analysis information with both colleagues and customers. Each participant will be reviewing real-world case studies to facilitate direct application of principles learned within the course.
Participants will:
- Learn basics and definitions of accounting principles and reporting, GAAP, and how reporting issues affect financial statements
- Analyze financial statements at an advanced level
- Understand financial ratios and what they really mean
- Effectively communicate commercial lending information to supervisors, colleagues, and customers
- Analyze case studies to immediately apply information and tools from program, including: "Which company would you lend to?"
* Participants will earn 2.1 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)
