The Office of Professional & Executive Development (OPED) in the College of Business is organized around an "industry vertical" strategy. That is, it develops programs for specific industry verticals that predominate in the Southern Colorado region. This approach enables OPED to make the best use of its limited resources and provide maximal benefit to its industry clients. The verticals served by OPED are listed below and in the navigation panel to the left under "Programs":
If you want to explore the programs that are available in your industry simply click on the relevant heading to the left for a complete list of current offerings. Each program that OPED currently offers is described, including a list of objectives, takeaways, fees, and program faculty. Each program also has a clickable PDF flyer for you to share with those who may be interested.
OPED offers custom programs designed for specific client needs. We can work directly with you to design a tailored program specifically for your organization and your unique needs and goals. Programs can be offered in-house at your location or on our campus. See the "Custom Programs" link in the navigation bar to the left to learn more about how OPED can work with you to create a training solution that fits your needs.
Finally, please note that OPED is constantly striving to improve its offerings to its regional industry clients. We will be adding more programs in the coming weeks and months, so come back often to check on the latest offerings. In addition, if you have ideas for programs that might be needed in our community, please don't hesitate to contact us to let us know.
