Nina Polok is the Program Executive for the Bachelor of InnovationTM at UCCS. Before taking this role, Nina worked at Agilent Technologies as the Business HR Manager for a global business unit, responsible for driving cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration across 2000 people in 25 countries. Other roles at Agilent included executive and senior manager training and coaching and facilitating strategic planning processes.
Prior to joining Agilent, Nina was a visiting associate professor in the College of Business at the UCCS, with a reputation for her ability to show students how conceptual information relates to actual business experience, across 16 different courses, including the capstone courses in strategy at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. She led the startup phase of the distance MBA in the College.
Prior work in high tech companies and small businesses plus consulting in leadership and innovation in countries around the world complete Nina's extensive experience. She brings a unique combination of academic knowledge made relevant by application in many types of work environments.
Nina holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, an MBA in Information Systems, and a PhD in Strategy, Organization, and Management with emphasis in Organizational Change and Development.
