Harold Snowden is a workplace learning professional who embraces the philosophy that "adult education + learning opportunities = corporate return on investment". He has a Master of Education degree specializing in Adult learning, Training, and Development, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resource Management. Harold is also an Insights Accredited Practitioner with Insights North America. His memberships include the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), Association for Supervision Curriculum and Development (ASCD) and the American Management Association (AMA).
Harold has worked in the field of adult education for more than 24 years. His training management career began when he completed his certification as a U.S. Army instructor which followed him through a very successful military career. During his military career, Harold was the senior trainer responsible for military ground and mobile tactics and major-weapon systems deployment. He received accolades from senior commanders in Europe for his creativity of weaponry range development leading to significant cost savings and improved combat readiness. Harold was honored to write the first United Nations patrol leader training plan in support of ground operations in Macedonia. Other notable military writings include leadership handbooks and human resource reference catalogues.
Harold has continued to advance his training management background in positions as Training Manager, and Corporate Trainer in both the physical and behavioral healthcare fields. He has designed, written, and facilitated program plans for leadership, management, and supervisor development. In addition, he routinely provides other various corporate trainings.
