The UCCS Sport Management program is one of only eleven in the United States that is housed within an AACSB accredited business school. AACSB accreditation is the most rigorous accreditation a business school can earn. Less than 5% of business schools worldwide currently hold this hallmark of distinction.
The Sport Management program offers a unique curriculum that integrates traditional business education with original coursework in Sport Law, Sport Marketing and Olympic & International Sport Management. Its close proximity to and strong relationships with the United States Olympic Committee and Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, as well as the 20+ national sports federations allows the program provides faculty, students and other program affiliates with high-quality collaborative opportunities in sport.
This expertise and exclusiveness is highly valued and positions UCCS, the College of Business and the Sport Management program as industry leaders in sport business education.
The UCCS College of Business was established in 1965 and has more than 1,300 undergraduates and 450 MBA and distance MBA students. The College awards the Bachelor of Science in Business and Bachelor of Innovation degrees. The Graduate School of Business Administration awards the Master of Business Administration degree. More than 7,300 College of Business alumni live and work around the world.
