Andrew Czaplewski


Czaplewski is a Professor of Marketing and International Business in the UCCS College of Business. He earned an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird's American Graduate School of International Management and a PhD in Business Administration and Marketing from Arizona State University. His research interests include services marketing, social responsibility, design and implementation of global account strategies and pedagogical issues and instructional technologies. Czaplewski's corporate experience includes International Sales and Export Management at Schuller International and International Marketing at COBE Laboratories. Czaplewski has been recognized six times with the Outstanding Teaching Award, and in 2007 he was the recipient of both the Campuswide Outstanding Teacher Award and the College of Business Outstanding Faculty Award.


Olson is a Professor of Policy, Strategy, and Marketing and Director of the Sport Management program in the UCCS College of Business. He earned an MBA from Portland State University and a PhD in Marketing and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota. His teaching and research interests include marketing strategy, competitive strategy, new product development and design management. Olson is a former consultant to Turtledove Clemens Advertising Agency, AT&T and Graybar Electric and a seasoned author and grant recipient. He has received three "Citation of Excellence" awards from Anbar Electronic Intelligence for articles in Business Horizons and Marketing Management, as well as the Nils-Erik Aaby award for outstanding paper in the College of Business, The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Olson is a four-time recipient of the College of Business Outstanding Faculty Award and three-time recipient of Outstanding Intellectual Contribution (Research) Award. He is currently researching Strategy, Structure and Process in the Premier League.



Steele is the Chief Executive Officer at USA Bobsled & Skeleton where he works with a $2.4 million budget, 23 Olympians, and 100 active bobsled and skeleton athletes around the country. Steele earned a Masters in Economics from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley. A former decathlete, Steele competed in the sport of bobsled for 5 years ,taking 12th at the Olympics in four-man in 1998 and 9th at the Olympics in 2002 in two-man with driver Brian Shimer. Steele is a graduate of the 2010 Olympic Sport Leadership Certification program and is adjunct faculty in the UCCS College of Business where he teaches an undergraduate course in Management.
