The MBA degree requires a minimum of five (5) electives. Students may choose to focus on a particular specialization or Area of Emphasis with their electives. In most cases, an Area of Emphasis requires three (3) or four (4) electives, leaving room in the degree plan for one (1) or two (2) electives from other disciplines.
Some electives are only available on campus, some are only available online, and some are available via both delivery methods. The table below outlines the options available for each of our Areas of Emphasis. Click on any Area of Emphasis for more information.

While students are welcome to take campus or online classes, the tuition does differ depending on the delivery mode. See the tuition schedule for more information.
You do not have to pursue an Area of Emphasis. A General Business MBA allows students to customize their degree by selecting any five (5) MBA electives.
Students may choose to pursue more than one Area of Emphasis. In cases where there is overlap a class may be counted toward more than one emphasis.
For example, the International Finance class can be used toward both the Finance and International Business Areas of Emphasis.
Area(s) of Emphasis will be reflected on the student's transcripts. However, the diploma only reflects the degree, Master of Business Administration.
