Graduate Business Certificates

In today's fast-paced world, individuals frequently find themselves in new positions that require additional or updated education. Whether you already have an MBA and want to broaden your background in a specific field, are interested in just taking courses in a focused area, or are interested in a starting point for an MBA, the Graduate Certificate program offered by the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs may be the perfect solution for you. Graduate certificate courses are taught by full-time, doctoral qualified faculty of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

The Program

Each graduate certificate consists of a minimum of 12 hours of graduate course work in a specific field of study, in addition to any required prerequisites. Students may take the prerequisites at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. All course work required for a Certificate must be completed within three (3) calendar years.

Certificate students may use the completed course work from a Graduate Certificate towards an MBA degree. All course work for the MBA must be completed within five calendar years, including coursework taken as a certificate student.

Graduate Certificates may not be eligible for federal financial aid.

Graduate-level certificates can be completed via traditional classroom learning or online via our distance learning program. We offer graduate certificates in the following disciplines:

Students should apply to the Certificate Program at least four (4) weeks prior to the start of classes.

Application Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any subject with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Program Costs:

The total investment in our Graduate Certificate program will vary depending on your residency status (Colorado resident vs. non-resident) and delivery mode (on campus vs. online). Tuition and fees for the Graduate Certificate program are the same as the MBA Tuition listed here.

In general the total tuition and fees for a four (4) course certificate will be between $7,084 and $12,688. Textbooks required for the certificate program typically cost between $150-200 per course or $600-800 for the program. The total investment in the certificate will be higher for students that have not previously satisfied prerequisite requirements.
