To drop or withdraw from a Distance MBA class, you will use the web registration system within the myUCCS Current Student Portal, as long as DMBA registration is still open. After registration closes, you must complete the paper Course Change Form and either fax the form to the MBA office at 719-255-3100 or scan it and send it to email@example.com as an attachment. Refer to the Distance MBA Academic Calendar for drop deadlines.
DO NOT USE THE CAMPUS ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR DROP/WITHDRAWAL DATES, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.
If you are withdrawing while Distance MBA registration is still open, you must use the web registration system within the myUCCS Current Student Portal to drop/withdraw from a class.
After registration closes, you will need to complete the paper Course Change Form (fill out the DROP section).
After the last day to drop with 100% refund, you must have your instructor's permission, and in certain cases the Dean's permission, to withdraw from a course. A signature from your professor is not required. An email from your professor to firstname.lastname@example.org, granting you permissionto drop, will take the place of a signature.
If you receive Financial Aid, you must notify the Financial Aid office if you drop a Distance MBA class.
If you receive VA benefits, you must notify the UCCS Veterans Affairs office if you drop a Distance MBA class.
If you are using the paper Course Change Form (completing the DROP section), be sure you answer the two question on the form, the one concering Financial Aid and the other concerning VA Benefits. Don't forget to sign the form. Once completed, the Course Change form may be faxed the MBA office at 719-255-3100 or scanned and send to email@example.com as an attachment.
