I believe we are about to experience a significant change in the economic structure of our region. When the citizens of Colorado Springs voted to lease Memorial Hospital to University of Colorado Health, they voted to open doors to success for the entire region.
At this moment, I'm not sure we can see all of the possibility this change brings to our city and Southern Colorado. Ideas for business and innovation will gather and begin to snowball. Looking into the future, we should put our brains together to make sure that we make the most out of this unprecedented opportunity.
I'm planning to find out more during the panel discussion at this year's Southern Colorado Economic Forum, held on September 28 at the Antlers Hilton in downtown Colorado Springs.
The panel will be moderated by Deborah Chandler, executive vice president & CEO, Colorado Springs Health Partners. The panel speakers include:
The panel is part of the 16th Annual Southern Colorado Economic Forum brought to you by our business faculty Dr. Tom Zwirlein and Dr. Fred Crowley and supported by a number of generous sponsors. Dr. Zwirlein and Dr. Crowley will give us the forum results and regional outlook. Dr. Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Wells Capital Management, will provide the national and international outlook.
Please learn more and register for the forum at www.southerncoloradoeconomicforum.com. Click here to see a video of some of our speakers. I hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
