This holiday season, we are celebrating with six new faculty members who joined the College of Business in the fall. While they wrap up their first semester at UCCS, we are looking forward to their contributions to our students, campus, and community in the coming years.

Dr. Dustin Bluhm, Assistant Professor of ManagementDr. Bluhm received his PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the University of Washington. Dr. Babak Hayati, Assistant Professor of MarketingDr. Hayati holds a PhD in Marketing from the CT Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. Matthew Metzger, ABD, Instructor, Bachelor of Innovation™Mr. Metzger is a PhD candidate in Management from the University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business (expected fall 2012). Mr. Metzger received his MBA with an Entrepreneurship concentration from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Blaise Sonnier, JD, CPAAssistant Professor of Tax Accounting, Kirk Wilcox Professor of AccountingDr. Sonnier holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Grenoble School of Management in Grenoble, France. Dr. Sonnier's research interests are federal and state taxation of individuals and business entities. He has also conducted research on factors that influence the decision of jurors in audit malpractice suits and that influence whistleblowers to report acts of financial accounting fraud. |

Dr. Yang Xu, Assistant Professor of AccountingDr. Xu received her PhD in Accounting from the University of Kansas. Dr. Kimberly Zahller, Assistant Professor of AccountingDr. Zahller holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Miami University (Oxford, OH).
