Congratulations to incoming freshman David Jones of Denver, who has been named one of four recipients of PGA Foundation Golf Management University Scholarships. The PGA Golf Management University Program is a 4½ to five-year structured educational course of study designed for aspiring PGA Professionals.
The PGA Golf Management University curriculum is accredited by The PGA of America and includes extensive classroom studies, internship experience and player development providing students the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the golf industry. Since its inception in 1975, more than 3,100 graduates are current PGA of America members.
Each scholarship is valued at $40,000 over the four years in the PGA Golf Management University program, with $10,000 being awarded to a graduating high school student for their freshman year.
Each scholarship is renewable, $10,000 in each of the subsequent years that a recipient meets criteria that include maintaining a 2.50 cumulative grade point average.
