Mentorship

"Bridging the Gap" Mentorship Program

BSNA Vice-President, La'Rissa Fleming, is working closely with junior and senior nursing students to help bridge the gap of the "unknown" during the transitional years of nursing school.

• Each junior or senior nursing student who has volunteered to be a mentor is paired up with one or two sophomore level students.
• The mentor acts as a personal coach and encourager, so the underclassmen can navigate through the program with resources and insight that they would not have had otherwise.

This will be an evolving program throughout the year, so please stay tuned for announcement concerning mentorship get-togethers and/or workshops.
