Research Interests:

My area of expertise is sports nutrition and I concentrate on research dealing with diet and physical performance. I am also interested in weight gain in college students and young children and will be working with CU-Denver's Center for Human Nutrition on a grant that will look at preventing excess weight gain in 5th graders in the state of Colorado.

I have maintained working relationships with the USOC and affiliated NGB's as well as MLB baseball teams and collegiate and High School athletes. These relationships give students the opportunity to experience both research and sports nutrition experiences.
