Many courses are
offered in an online environment to accommodate the needs of adult learners. These classes allow
learners to continue their educational goals without the physical restrictions of a traditional
classroom setting. Online class work is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Assignments
have a specific deadline, but the learner determines his/her own study schedule.
EFFECTIVE SPRING 2007
: All online students must use
Microsoft Office 2003 or newer to submit all course work that is required (PowerPoint,
WORD). As a UCCS student, you are eligible for academic pricing of this
software through the UCCS Bookstore.
