FORENSIC STUDIES

Four Hundred level health science courses provide senior level nursing students, health science students and Registered Nurses the opportunity to take upper division courses for college credit. These Courses may be used  as elective course credit toward a baccalaureate degree in nursing or health science (available as CE credits).

The paradigm for Forensic Health Sciences focuses on meeting the needs of victims and perpetrators of violent crime. The model applies clinical and scientific nursing knowledge to the delivery of care for survivors of traumatic injury, victims of violence, or death investigations.

The Forensic Certificate is awarded upon completion of 14 credit hours.

HOLISTIC NURSING

Holistic Nursing is the study of healing strategies through the understanding of theories and principles of holism. These classes may also be taken through Extended Studies .

The Holistic Nursing Certificate is awarded upon completion of 12 credit hours.
