UCCS ALUMNIGraduates at Commencement

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

If you're interested in volunteering with the UCCS Alumni and Friends Association, we have several opportunities for you to get involved. Simply complete the short form below, and we'll connect you with opportunities that best meet your interests.

Working with UCCS Students

Open your home to 12 current UCCS students for an evening of discussion about majors, career paths, professional development, and a
variety of topics (learn more). Tell us what you are interested in, and we will identify the group of students who can best benefit from your expertise.
Hosts are responsible for covering the cost of the meal.
     Time commitment = one evening

Offering an Internship or Job Opportunity

Let us know about career opportunities within your organization and we will connect you with appropriate campus office to promote them.
     Time commitment = low

Once a year, the Alumni & Friends Association receives applications for the Ent Alumni Association Scholarship. Reviewers are needed to help
us select the best and most deserving students to receive the award. The time commitment for this opportunity is low: applications are reviewed
only once per year, and the review process occurs completely online.
Time commitment = a few days once a year

Our Online Mentoring Network will allow you to connect with UCCS students looking for professional development advice. The time commitment
and number of students you mentor is completely your decision.
Time commitment = varies (you control the number of students you mentor and your communication with them)

Several times throughout the year, our student organization Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) hosts professional development panels called
"Backpack to Briefcase." If you'd like to spend an evening on campus with a group of current students to help them prepare for their futures, sign
     up as a potential panelist.
     Time commitment = one evening

Other Activities

Are you already connected to other UCCS alumni on social media? Great! As a social media ambassador, you can help us share news, stories,
and events with your network to increase Mountain Lion pride.
Time commitment = weekly (online only)

Participating in the CU Advocates Program

Join forces with other University of Colorado alumni to learn about what is happening on all four campuses and how you can play a role in keeping
the University high on the list of legislative priorities.
Time commitment = varies (events held at different locations throughout the year)

The UCCS Alumni Advisory Board works on a variety of initiatives throughout the year, including but not limited to most of the volunteer
opportunities mentioned above. As a board member, you will connect with students and help us develop direction for future activities.
     Time commitment = high
