You'll notice a few changes in this month's issue of Alumni Connections - primarily the fact that we're now using a new email marketing tool to communicate with you. Our hope is that this new platform will allow us to better manage your communication preferences and create a reading experience that is more enjoyable for you. We'll continue fine-tuning the system in the months ahead, so please feel free to share any feedback on design or content 
Fueled by a $750,000 Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education grant from the U.S. Department of Education, a group of southern Colorado colleges and universities will work cooperatively to increase the number of southern Colorado residents who attend college. 
Lamar Community College and UCCS announced the beginning of a significant partnership between the two colleges during halftime of a scrimmage between the LCC and UCCS men's basketball teams recently. 
Save the Date for the 2011 CU Advocacy Day on Friday, January 28 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Colorado State Capitol (200 East Colfax, Denver, CO). Watch for more details and online registration during the first week of January.
