What is GOLD?

Graduates of the Last Decade, or GOLD, is a special segment of the Alumni and Friends Association designed for alumni who have graduated from UCCS less than ten years ago. Our goal is to help you succeed in your job search / professional development through activities such as networking, career-focused workshops, sessions on financial management and more. Have an idea for an event? Let us know by emailing alumni@uccs.edu.

How do I sign up?

You don't need to sign up to be a member of GOLD. You're automatically a member for the first ten years after you graduate. We'll get in touch with you to tell you about upcoming events we have designed to help you succeed professionally and to ask for your feedback on the types of events in which you'd like to participate. 

What do I get?

All GOLD members will get access to the following types of events and programming:

• Networking workshops and receptions to give you the skills you need to succeed in your job search
  
• Tips for creating and maintaining your financial independence, such as personal budgeting, understanding your credit score, deciding whether or not to buy a house, getting insurance, etc.
  
• Resume and interviewing workshops to build your skill set
• Career Fair workshops to help you stand out from the crowd
• Invitations to Graduate School open houses and events, career fairs, etc.
• Continued access to the UCCS Career Center to access the assistance and tools you need to succeed
