Alumni Connections: College of Education, August 2011

As the fall semester gets underway at your alma mater, campus activity is at an all-time high. Students moved into housing last week, we welcomed over 1,200 students and faculty back to campus at our annual Convocation Ceremony in the Gallogly Events Center, and classes began on August 22.Jennifer Hane

We're also excited about a diverse schedule of alumni programming slated for the fall semester, including the following:

  • Roar on the Road events in La Junta, Grand Junction, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Los Angles and Washington, DC
  • A month of career and professional development events including an interviewing/resume workshop, a session on standing out a career fair, speed mentoring, and others
  • Continued networking opportunities to include our semi-annual Alumni Advancement Lecture Series with Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak, Alumni Night at Theaterworks, and more

You can view a full list of activities mentioned above on our website.

We look forward to seeing you at an event in the near future. As always, if you have comments or suggestions on our programming, please let us know.
