Alumni Connections: Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, October 2011White House Highlights Chancellor, UCCS as "Champions of Change"
In September, UCCS Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak, was selected as a “Champion of Change” and participated in a roundtable discussion on the positive impact of many community colleges across the nation. Shockley-Zalabak talked about the Southern Colorado Education Consortium, a partnership between two and four-year colleges in southern Colorado to improve student success in the region. (More)
Beth-El Instructor Aims to Assist Disabled Athletes

Associated with Beth-El for 20 years, Hoch is responsible for the overall operations of Beth-El’s Health Sciences Department. She is known for conducting her duties with limitless patience, inexhaustible energy and a smile. Described as a team player, a wise and loyal comrade, and a dedicated employee, she functions in a way that exceeds her job requirements.
