CONTINUING EDUCATION

Graduate School

Graduate school signifies a commitment to your own professional development and to a specific discipline. To help you meet your goals, UCCS has 20 master's programs and 5 doctoral programs with additional emphasis areas and certificate programs available (see all). While your program is the first place you should go with questions, please feel free to contact the Graduate School at any time if we can be of help!

At one of the fastest growing universities in Colorado and the U.S., you'll learn from our talented faculty in an environment designed for learning and student success - smaller class sizes than our peer institutions and the ability to connect one-on-one with your professors and instructors. You'll have every chance to grow and learn, expand your thinking in ways you never imagined and prepare for life after graduation and the career you've always dreamed about. The academics are challenging. UCCS has a selective admissions process that examines your past work, so UCCS isn't for everyone. But if you're up for the challenge and a chance to succeed, we look forward to reviewing your application and hopefully seeing you on campus soon.

Listening In

Listening In allows lifelong learners age 55 or older the opportunity to attend regular-session courses on a space-available basis. No academic credit is earned, but the program provides an opportunity for seasoned adults to share in the vast and varied resources of the University.

This program is housed under the Office of Campus Wide Extended Studies. For more information visit their website.

Curiosity Unlimited

Curiosity Unlimited was founded in 1977 by a group of Pikes Peak area citizens and CU alumni to provide a forum for stimulating community interest in the University of Colorado Colorado Springs to create opportunities to become acquainted with UCCS faculty members, to study relevant issues through free on-campus lectures, and to engage in leisure time learning. For more information visit their website.

PILLAR Institute of Lifelong Learning

The Pillare Institute of Lifelong Learning is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offering enrichment through lifelong learning. There is no age requirement for our exciting, life enriching, educational opportunities.
PILLAR produces over 300 classes a year in the liberal arts and sciences.  Three catalogs a year are produced.   In addition, there are community lectures by community leaders, Living History portrayals, Reader's Theater performances, tours and trips. For more information visit their website.
