UCCS Summer Camps - Games, Sports and Swimming

Camp Description:

The UCCS Campus Recreation Department is excited to offer this camp that will allow participants to develop physical and social skills by participating in a variety of different activities. While physical involvement and development is part of the week, the main focus will be on having fun, learning how to play different sports, sportsmanship, and making new friends. The camp is designed and run by the professional and student staff of the UCCS Campus Recreation Department, who will provide instruction and guidance for camp participants. Camp activities will include group games such as variations on tag, capture the flag, and other teambuilding activities along with popular team sports like kickball, dodgeball, basketball and soccer.  Wednesday will feature a field trip to a local Colorado Springs attraction (Sky Sox game, Cheyene Mountain Zoo...) that will be determined as the camp gets closer.  The camp will be capped off on Friday with a water day featuring a 100 foot water slide, water baloon slingshots and outdoor water based games.
