Margo Hatton serves as Director of Development in the Office of University Advancement. She is responsible for donor cultivation for the university including scholarship support, research and development, capital campaigns, and grant writing.

Prior to joining UCCS, Margo was the Manager of Development and Education Partnerships at the Space Foundation and the Director of Development for the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP).

In addition, Margo serves on the Rocky Mountain PBS Local Advisory Council, is a member of the Women’s Foundation Steering Committee and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Margo served on the Colorado Model Content Standards committee through the Colorado State Board of Education and the Colorado STEM Coalition, was a member of the Pueblo City Schools Strategic Planning Committee, formed the Zebulon Montgomery Pike Bicentennial Steering Committee, and was appointed to the Pueblo Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission. She received the Pueblo Women’s History Week Outstanding Woman of the Year in 2007.

Margo earned a BA Art History/Museum Administration from Principia College, Elsah, Illinois and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in the School of Public Affairs at UCCS.

Margo is married to Stanley McFall, has two sons – Blake and Dillon, and is a native of Pueblo, Colorado.
