UCCS is committed to keeping the costs of tuition low and making college accessible to everyone. The UCCS staff is available to assist students in finding ways to pay for college through scholarships, grants, loans, work study, and other various types of aid.

Listed below are estimated costs of yearly tuition and fees at UCCS. These are averages and not a guarantee of cost of attendance for a student, because all costs are dependent upon the number of credit hours a student takes, choice of housing arrangements and specialized fees for certain lab courses taken. The average cost for on-campus housing expenses includes room, meal plan, cable TV, Wifi Internet, utilities, parking and laundry for one academic year in Summit Village Residence Halls.

            Tuition and fees: $9,142.50

            On-campus housing expenses average: $11,220

Colorado Resident (12 credits/semester; 24 credits/year)

            Tuition and fees: $7,460.40

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) offers eligible undergraduate students from western states and territories the chance to attend UCCS at a discounted rate. WUE students pay 150% of the in-state tuition rate instead of the full non-resident tuition rate.*

Eligible states/territories are:
North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands

WUE eligibility is determined at the time of application, no further action is necessary.

*Students of the Beth-El College of Nursing are not eligible to receive the WUE tuition rate.  Beth-El College of Health Sciences students are eligible for WUE.
