| Students
who are not seeking a degree at UCCS and interested in taking
courses or who are not able to be admitted to degree status
by the term deadline (census date) may take courses as an unclassified
(non-degree) student.
To
apply, one must be:
- At least 20 years of age by Sept 15 for fall or summer
semester or Feb 15 for spring semester;
- A high school graduate or possess a equivalency certificate
and have at least a 2.0 G.P.A (Non high school graduates must
submit a copy of the GED scores and state Equivalency certificates);
- In good standing and eligible to return to all institutions
previously attended.
Note:
Please DO NOT submit an unclassified interactive web application
if you have previously submitted an interactive web degree application
for the same semester. Instead, please submit a printable application
or contact the Admissions Office.
Applying
as an unclassified/nondegree student:
- You can apply using the web-based
interactive application or print the application form
which is in acrobat reader or MS-WORD
format, or you may request that an application be mailed to
you by contacting the Admissions office.
- If you apply via our interactive web application,
we will receive your application electronically. To complete
the application process, mail your $25 application fee to
the Office of Admissions.
- If you use the printable application, mail the
completed application and the $25 application fee to the Office
of Admissions.
