Minutes from ITC meeting on 9 November 2001

The next official meeting of the ITC is scheduled for Friday, December 14 at
9 am in EPC 304C.

NOTES:
1) Please reserve Friday, November 30th, at 9 in EPC 304C if possible. We
may decide to discuss further the report from the IT subcommittee on IT
organization.

2) Do not forget to attend the Archibus demonstration by facilities next
Friday, November 16th, at 9 am in Campus Services Building - Conference
room.

MINUTES
We spent most of the meeting time discussing the report from the IT
Organization subcommittee. Leslie led the discussion. Rather than record the
discussion, it was decided that the subcommittee would meet again to discuss
the comments and possibly make revisions to the document. A revised version
will be distributed by email. We will try to electronically discuss the
document but we did reserve Friday, November 30th, at 9 in EPC 304C as a
time that we could possibly meet to discuss. We did decide a vote was needed
before sending it forward to the Chancellor.

The faculty from the ITC did meet as the Academic Computing Policy Committee
and we elected Patricia Keilbach as the chair and Faculty Assembly
representative. (Thanks, Patricia!)

The IT Policy Subcommittee will meet Monday, 12 November in Columbine 203 to
discuss the email, web and funding issues.
