Executive Team's Guiding Principles for Decision Making During the FY 04 Budget Process

 

1) Protect the capacity to handle current and future growth by retaining "full employment" or as near to "full employment" as possible.

 

2) Maintain access for all qualified students

 

3) Maintain instructional support for all students.

 

4) Complete Cragmor Hall.

 

5) Continue to fund instructional costs for each percent of enrollment growth.

 

6) Continue support for our strategic plan and our role and mission to become the #1 research university in our region.

 

7) Maintain a collaborative and inclusive culture.

 

8) Ensure that a transparent process and open data are utilized in all budget decisions.

 

9) Ensure that UBAC has an opportunity to review the fiscal impact of any new programs and make recommendations to the Executive Team on the merits of the proposed new program.
