Chancellor Search Committee

•       Met last on February 26

•       Narrowed the list to nine applicants with good potential for additional consideration.

•      Planning informal conversations with nine applicants in the near future.

•       Approximately 100 nominations or applicants. A very strong pool of candidates.

•       The process has been very open and genial.

Intellectual Property Forum

-                       IP Forum will he held on our campus on March 21, 2002 in 116A from 3-4:00PM:

-                       I will be sending an announcement and flyer electronically to the full campus shortly.

Faculty Council/Senate

•       Current versions of the Constitution (32), Bylaws, & Intellectual Property are available on line at the Faculty Council website:

•       The election will begin by April 1,2002

Remaining Committee Need

•       I am recommending Paul Sondrol to finish out the unexpired term of Maryanne Wanca-Tibault on Faculty Council.
