Purpose: To develop a pool of money for the campus that can be used for faculty and staff technology development.

Administration of fund: The fund will be administered by CU Foundation

Disbursement of monies: Monies will be disbursed by a solicited proposal process. The Faculty Staff Technology Fund committee (FSTFC) will meet in the fall of every semester to decide if the fund contains enough money to disburse. If it is decided that there are sufficient monies, the FSTFC will distribute a call for proposals to all staff and faculty. Proposals will be reviewed by the FSTFC. Monies will be distrubuted for use in the following spring.

Use of the monies: The monies are to be used to support the technology development of faculty and staff at UCCS. Acceptable uses of the monies include training, the purchase of hardware or software, or offload time for project development.
