In February, the committee hosted a lunchtime workshop on Academic Mentoring for Women, as well as the visit of Dr. Alvina Quintana from University of Delaware. Dr. Quintana gave a presentation for students Feb. 24 and a faculty workshop February 26. In March, the committee is hosting Dr. Michael Kimmel, an internationally known scholar of men's issues and masculinity. He will give a presentation for students and the university community on Wed. march 15 at 4:30, and will also lead a faculty/lecturer workshop on Wed. March 15th from 11:30-1:30. Work also continues on the early summer curriculum transformation workshop in conjunction with the director of Ethnic Minority Studies.
