What Jobs are Available & How to Apply

SUMMER WORK-STUDY: Employment for the Summer session starts May 20, 2007 and ends August 11, 2007. This allows up to 12 weeks to earn your award. We will begin posting summer work-study jobs on SEAN's Place on 4/30/07-begin applying for your job at that time!

FALL WORK-STUDY: Employment for the Fall semester starts August 12, 2007 and ends December 29, 2007. This allows up to 20 weeks to earn your award. We will begin posting fall work-study jobs on SEAN's Place on 7/16/07-begin applying for your job at that time!

SPRING WORK-STUDY: Employment for the Spring semester starts December 30, 2007 and ends May 17, 2008. This allows up to 20 weeks to earn your award. We will begin posting spring work-study jobs on SEAN's Place on 12/3/07-begin applying for your job at that time!

TO APPLY FOR A JOB: Make sure it is the right time to apply (see above for posting/application dates for summer, fall and spring terms). If it is time to apply, view work-study jobs by signing onto SEAN's Place. The following job types will contain work-study job listings:

The "Work-Study" type
The "Both Work-Study and Non-Work-Study" type

*The "Non-Work-Study" (only) job type does not contain work-study listings

**Please note that there are some off-campus work-study opportunities that are community service oriented.

Apply to the jobs directly, as indicated on the job listing as you view it on SEAN's Place. Once you are hired, come to the Student Employment Office to complete the necessary paperwork. Complete your hire paperwork NO LATER than your first day of work; preferably complete the paperwork immediately upon being hired so that you are paid on time! You cannot be paid without this required paperwork.
