 THE BIOLOGY/CHEMISTRY DOUBLE MAJOR
 

MAJOR IN CHEMISTRY FOR STUDENTS WHO FULFILL REQUIREMENTS FOR A B.A. IN BIOLOGY


Biology majors often express an interest in a chemistry minor. Currently, there are 15-20 biology majors taking a chemistry minor. The chemistry minor consists of 26 to 27 credit hours in chemistry. The double major is now available to any biology major who also completes the chemistry requirements given below. This program does not apply to those students who are seeking to graduate as chemistry majors only.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

 


A student who completes all requirements for the B.A. degree in Biology at UCCS may also complete a B.A. in chemistry by finishing the following course work with grades of C or better. Courses may not be double counted, i.e. for both a biology and a chemistry degree. Cross-listed courses to be used for the chemistry degree must be selected as Chem courses.
