ANDREW W. SUBUDHI

B.A., Mathematics, The Colorado College, 1992; M.S., Exercise Science, Colorado State University, 1996. Dr. Subudhi received a PhD from the University of Utah in 2000 for his work on exercise-induced oxidative stress and completed post-doctoral training at the University of Colorado Health Science center in the areas of altitude medicine and physiology. From 1997 to 2005 Dr. Subudhi was a Research Scientist at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, in Salt Lake City, UT, where he ran physiological testing services through the United States Olympic Committee Network Affiliate program. He was an integral member of the performance enhancement team for the US Speedskating Team (Long Track) through the 2002 Salt Lake City and 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games. Since his appointment at the University of Colorado, Dr. Subudhi’s research has focused on the effects of hypoxia on exercise performance through the University of Colorado’s Altitude Research Center. Additionally, Dr. Subudhi is also actively involved with USA Cycling’s Coaches Education Program.
